What is Fillmed M-HA 18?

Fillmed M-HA 18 is a sterile, viscoelastic, clear, colorless, transparent, isotonic, biodegradable and injectable gel. Fillmed M-HA 18 is composed of non-animal sodium hyaluronate, obtained from biofermentation. Fillmed M-HA 18 is intended for replenishing the loss of hyaluronic acid due to aging. With Fillmed M-HA 18, the skin of the face, neck, décolleté, and the back of the hands may be treated for purposes of rejuvenation. It is designed to be injected into the superficial dermal tissue, preferably deeper, to improve tone and elasticity of the skin and/or to act as filler for small lines such as crow's feet, smile lines, or smoke lines surrounding the mouth.

How does this product work?

When you inject Fillmed M-HA 18 into the dermis, the hyaluronic acid immediately binds to water within your patient's skin, plumping up to stretch the skin and smooth out superficial wrinkles and fine lines, giving your patients a younger and more hydrated look. Fillmed M-HA 18 is made with hyaluronic acid that is stabilized to resist breaking down as quickly within your patient's skin.
